The Brisbane Watch Repair Centre is one of a select few companies trusted and trained by Citizen Watches Australia to legitimately work on these professional diver's aids.

While they are not particularly difficult to work on, they need to be put though a significantly more thorough wet pressure testing process to ensure they are properly sealed before professional use.

The much loved 'original' Citizen Aqualand (pictured) has been discontinued for quite some time now.  Parts are also no longer available, and as a result the level of work which can be carried out is limited.  Citizen Watches Australia, and many other authorised repairers are no longer repairing or replacing batteries in these watches.  This is due to the fact that without parts availability, no kind of warranty can be offered on work carried out.  (There is a trade-in deal being offered by Citizen for these older watches.  Contact us for more info...)

These watches are revered by their owners, and as a result we have (somewhat reluctantly) continued to replace batteries and pressure test.  I must stress, however, that while all care is taken, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY on this work, and is carried out at the owner's risk!

If you look carefully at these case backs you will see that they are marked 'DON'T OPEN/SERVICE CENTRE REPAIR ONLY' & 'DON'T OPEN! MANUFACTURERS REPAIR ONLY'.  There are many 'naughty' watch repairers who ignore this warning.  Surely your own personal safety is worth the small inconvenience of using our authorised service centre?
